Walkable Urbanism Tour in Sarasota on June 28

Come join Suncoast APA for a 2-hour mobile tour of award-winning infill projects in Sarasota, Florida: Citrus Square and Janie’s Garden! If you’re looking for a job or internship, this is a great opportunity to rub elbows with potential employers and fellow planners!

The tour begins at 4:00pm at the Citrus Square project (411 North Orange Avenue). On street parking is available, or you may park at City Hall (1565 1st Street) and walk two blocks north along Orange Avenue to the project site. Transportation will be provided from Citrus Square to the Janie’s Garden project site (1400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Way) and returning to Citrus Square. The event will finish at 6:00pm, with a Happy Hour to follow (more details to come!). 2.0 Hours of CM Credit has been applied for.

The event is a joint APA/USGBC event, sponsored by the Florida House for Sustainable Development and APA Suncoast.

Cost: FREE for the first 5 students to RSVP.
